Throw away immediately! It’s time to ban these 5 things from the 2000s – totally tacky fashion

Logos all over the tracksuit, rhinestones, low-rise pants – in the history of fashion, there is nothing more controversial than the trends of the 2000s. Some of them returned this year and became the object of desire of all it-girls, others remained in the past. Catch a selection of trends from twenty years ago that are better not to remember!

No more shorts – no more pants

Even the highest heels can’t deter you from failing if you choose to wear pants. Both tight and looser cuts shorten the height and distort the silhouette, making them very difficult to adjust. It is better to replace satin trousers with pockets just below the knees for a full cargo, which have been at the top of trends for more than a season. It’s very easy to integrate into your wardrobe – pair with chunky boots, sneakers or even heeled pumps for a more romantic spring look.

Just not patterns.

Red corduroy trousers with a low rise and flared bottom seem like a bad choice, but it’s even worse if you complement the fabric with contrasting patterns. Such drawings significantly cheapen the image and are unlikely to return to the catwalks, so we have selected a more relevant option for you.

If you want to stand out from the crowd, then it is better to try jeans with abstract monophonic lines – they will look harmonious with a basic shirt or T-shirt, but you should still forget about patterns, applications and other excessive decorations.

A taxi driver’s dream

Hats are always difficult: like other accessories, they complete the look and help create a certain mood, so there is no room for error. For example, a bulky cap with a shapeless base could just ruin your outfit. An outdated shape and an outdated print visually add age and can distort your facial features, so this season pay attention to models with a stiffer frame or a leather beret – it will definitely not disappoint you.

Layering is not always a trend

In 2000, there was a trend of layering – girls wore two T-shirts of different shades at once, but modern fashions no longer follow this trend. Such models create a baggy silhouette, add “extra pounds” and shorten the height if the tops are not tucked into the pants.

This spring, it is better to give preference to a simple alcoholic T-shirt, which has been at the top for years and is considered a classic. With it, you can easily assemble a real multi-layered image: add a shirt and a voluminous jacket (you can’t go wrong with such a combination!).
