Top 5 invisible trends of spring 2023: Only the most fashionable girls are ready for them

There are trends so powerful and popular that they “rattle” for a few weeks and become boring. Like the fuchsia Valentino: a month (if not less) was enough to make everyone sick of it. Or, for example, a low rise: the trend of the 2000s burst into our reality so violently that almost all trendsetters rushed to walk with low pants and skirts – and went too far.

But this time we will talk about more “intelligent” trends that will not get tired and at the same time give off your sense of style. Let’s just say that these are trends that don’t lie on the surface – which means you have a great chance to show off your fashion flair and maintain your individuality. So take a look at the guide to the non-obvious trends of spring 2023 – our expert will instruct you.

Frankenstein denim

Get ready, there will be a lot of denim! The trendy reception of the season is the denim total look, which is also the Canadian tuxedo. Designers offer to deviate from the basics and take a closer look at “Frankenstein” things created from many details of different shades and textures.

In the collections, one can observe the total dominance of upcycling ideas: new models seem to be made from those that did not manage to be sold in boutiques. For inspiration – Alexander McQueen, Blumarine, Burberry and AWAKE

Negligence

Spring adjustment – get rid of excessive perfectionism. Deliberate carelessness, a combination of disparity and layering seem to be the ideal criteria for those who do not like to waste time with complex images.

For example, Joseph Altuzarra advises to dress as if you are rushing to the airport and, worried about the excess weight of your luggage, stretch some things on yourself. But Kim Jones in the Fendi spring collection showed another comeback of 2000 – a midi dress in a duet with trousers.

crinolines

Many paid homage to Queen Marie Antoinette: avant-garde Loewe, ultra-bold Balmain and even Christian Dior and Lanvin proudly looked down from the heights of fashion’s Olympus. Crinolines and hypertrophied volume in the hips seem to indicate that we do not forget to maintain social distance.

Of course, the trend is hard to imagine in everyday life, but it is worth looking deeper. Designers are subtly hinting that it’s time to at least sometimes break out of the arms of dimensionless sweatshirts. Attention is drawn to femininity, sexuality, graphic silhouettes, albeit in very hypertrophied forms.

Aesthetics Old money

A moderate but no less seductive old money aesthetic walks the catwalk with an emphasis on sexuality. The term “old money” refers to the wealth of the clan, passed down from generation to generation. The style of the same name leaves a veil of elegance, intellectual chic, status, but does not shout about it. This is a laconic design, “clean” colors, high-quality materials and nothing more.

This time, Bottega Veneta has backed the “simpler is better” game, proving that even a simple alcoholic t-shirt can look expensive. The same rules were followed by Stella McCartney and Ralph Lauren (“old money” has been in the DNA of his brand for more than 50 years).

Hood

The body is exposed, the head is covered. Anthony Vaccarello picked up a trick in the Saint Laurent archives and created a series of hooded maxi dresses. Bruno Sialelli used the move for Lanvin, while Alberta Ferretti made up for extreme slits with a modest top. Take note: at least you don’t have to worry about styling.
