Agreed, the year of the Rabbit even sounds better than the year of the Rat or the year of, say, the Pig – no prejudice, just association. And we have much more options for a festive look on the eve of 2023 than in other cases: here you can afford both fluffy dresses and soft “plush” sweaters! But those are the obvious tricks to appease the Black Water Rabbit – and what else can bring good luck?
The symbol of the coming year clearly loves black – now is the time to wear a little black dress and accessorize with silver or gold jewelry. So, in case you are too lazy to choose an outfit, we have a plan B. The second most important shade that pleases the Rabbit is blue. The aquatic nature of this fluff suggests blue, turquoise, azure shades – feel free to combine them with dramatic black! But you should refrain from neon and acid colors – artificial shades are prohibited.
In general, sequins, sequins and beads look organically for every New Year: they resemble sparks of sparklers, fireworks and glitter of snow on the window – perfect! But in the year of the Rabbit, the decision to shine in the literal sense is more than understandable: this fluffy one loves water, as a result, the effect of dazzle on water will suit us. That’s why we focus on silver, gold and metallic colors. For example, short and unusual silver earrings are ideal: mix them with a blue or black jacket dress for an elegant outfit.
We will not deny ourselves the pleasure of spending New Year’s Eve in the softest sweater, fluffy sweatshirt, plush slippers or even homemade mules or dresses with feathers – like desperate housewives. Rabbit advises to show gentleness, which means that such cozy elements will do us good.
