There is a joke on the Internet that trendsetters from the generation of zoomers suddenly discovered for themselves things in which the “old guard” of fashion was published 15-20 years ago. Alcoholic white T-shirts, leather pants, low-waisted jeans, pointy shoes, baguettes – the current trends look like someone found the canned wardrobe of Paris Hilton or Britney Spears and put them on the fashion charts. Sheepskin coats also ended up on the list of “returnees” – and we’re just happy about that.
Although, to be precise, sheep fur coats did not return to us from the glamor zero, but from the difficult nineties. Glyanets even wryly suggests putting on “daddy’s sheepskin coat” again—and there’s something to that idea. Not only leather coats with fur “padding”, but oversized models with large shoulder pads, massive sleeves and a loose silhouette returned to the catwalks and wardrobes of fashion designers.

But this does not mean that your sheepskin coat will stop working with regular jeans – on the contrary, these models are so versatile that it is simply a sin not to get one of them in your wardrobe.
In general, it remains only to understand which model suits you. In the trend of the 2022/2023 season are shearling coats of medium length, midi and shortened – given our weather, we recommend that you take a closer look at the first two options, of course. Contrast options with fur trim on pockets, sleeves and button lines are relevant – but don’t overdo it, lest our sheepskin coat turn into a bland mosaic of leather and fur.
The fashionista also likes insulated flight jackets with a massive collar that protects against the wind – a great find! The color scheme is not limited to basic shades such as black, chocolate, khaki, beige and gray, but they are usually chosen by fashionistas – it’s just a more comfortable style with casual clothes. However, if you like a model with a rich non-banal color, do not deny yourself this luxury: it is not for nothing that sheepskin coats are also called statement coats – from the word “statement”.
