Tasteless and ridiculous: these 5 bags are forbidden to wear with jackets and down jackets

Drawing fall pictures for warm weather is pure joy. We like to wear our favorite coats, match them with new chelsea boots, look for a cozy scarf to take with us in winter, wrap ourselves in a warm sweater – at least a little romance in these working days! But everything changes dramatically when autumn turns from “magic eyes” to a season of survival: either you win and come home with dry feet, or puddles and rain take their toll.

There is no time for romance here, so most often you want to wrap your face with a scarf, zip up your jacket to the chin and run. What bag, what bag to take? Those cute baguettes and bums that we haven’t parted with all September can ruin the whole look. How? Just a mismatch!

With a solid frame

We are talking about models in a clear classic style – the same bags with a short strap with a solid frame. They look great with a coat, but absolutely not suitable with down jackets and sports jackets.

colorfully decorated

Autumn and winter suggest a stricter approach to the palette and fabrics – no, of course, no one forbids wearing fuchsia “cheburashki” and orange scarves, but even in this case you should do without colorful prints and patterns. The more decorations and various accessories on the bag, the less it looks like your warm jacket.

Honestly easy

Handbags and clutches made of light wet fabrics can be safely stored in the closet. We choose accessories as “heavy” as outerwear, so the tighter your jacket is, the “heavier” your bag should be. Pay attention to leather models – they rarely fail in autumn.

On a very thin tape

Be sure to keep the proportions! The down jacket is a fairly massive design that includes the same large accessories. Therefore, the most fashionable baguettes, which we looked at so much a few months ago, will have to be sent to the top shelf of the wardrobe until next spring, if their ears are thinner than they should be. And imagine how difficult it will be to drag this bag over the sleeve of a down jacket!

In a bad mood

Another important point is the harmony between the outerwear and the bag. As a rule, we choose single-colored down jackets and jackets so that it is easier to coordinate them with scarves, hats and shoes. So a net with summer flowers or nightingales will look at least strange – have you got the season wrong? Autumn has its own prints and shades: from rich chocolate to soft cream, from wide stripes to houndstooth. But let’s save the juicy flower decorations for next season!
