Prom Dress Code: What to Wear (and Avoid) in Fashion

The ball is the gateway to the huge, beautiful, unknown, but so attractive world of adults. At graduation, no one thinks about the fact that sometimes the front door is closed, and every day you have to use either the back door or the passage rooms, which gradually change from temporary to permanent.

And yet our life gives us an infinite number of chances, opens up incredible opportunities to realize our dreams. Graduation is that wonderful holiday / lynx / Rubicon when you are still a child to your parents, but it seems that you are no longer a schoolboy. And every girl wants to be prom queen this evening.

When choosing your dream, the most important thing is to understand the purpose and meaning of this often expensive purchase. If the task is to wipe the nose of all the girlfriends and kill them on the spot, it will most likely be similar to the wedding dress: fluffy, floor-length, crinoline – at least put a price tag on it! The parents spent to the max and we have to tell everyone about it.

Well, you have every right. But we must remember that slender young girls look heavy and clumsy in such clothes. Graduates walk around the city until the morning, and it is not so easy to manage an uncomfortable crinoline. At the wedding, the bride has it much easier – they drive her around the city in a car (and some brides are even luckier – the newlywed husband carries them in his arms over 7 bridges). That’s why I’m against prom wedding dresses. You still have a long way to go, don’t rush life. He’s going too fast.

Another not very successful, in my opinion, option is in the style of a “maternity” evening dress. Perhaps the most massive group of prom dresses – and the most questionable in terms of relevance. The mistake is this: many girls want to be like their beautiful mother on this day, when she goes to the theater or to some festive event! “Mom” cocktail dresses are usually dark in color, often made of knitted fabric with sequins, sequins, with a deep neckline on the chest or a high slit on the skirt, reaching to the underwear.

Too revealing outfits that reveal all parts of the body, as we see in the photo of Western stars, are unlikely to bring you extra points in the eyes of classmates and classmates. Most likely, you will find dubious jokes behind your back or even on Instagram (the social network is recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation). A stage outfit or mother’s dress and a seventeen-year-old girl’s prom dress are quite different clothes in meaning. Why would you look 10 years older? Where to hurry? You will certainly be older, but you will certainly never experience such a beautiful evening in delicate girly dresses that emphasize your youth.

And then what about going to graduation?

Flying silk romantic dresses in pastel colors with frills, bows and frills, in my opinion, emphasize the beauty of youth and the grace of a slim figure. You can do without decor, but then it is better to choose a perfect silhouette. Now dresses with year-round skirts are back in fashion. A model made of flying silk (artificial and natural), the dress-sun will look spectacular. A girl in a similar dress looks like an exotic butterfly against the background of the bright and rich green of June.

Incredibly good with doll-style prom dresses, gathered at the waist, puffy, above the knee or mid-calf – whatever you want. When else to wear them if not at this wonderful age? Made of light jacquard or fashionable neoprene, which perfectly holds the shape of such dresses. Attention – a wetsuit is not the best choice in the heat.

If you don’t want to look “like everyone else” tonight and want to be original, your option is a more brutal prom dress, which, by the way, is more practical. Beautiful lightweight silk jumpsuits that can be worn all summer and look great at prom. Trouser suits made of copper or tencel fabric also look great. They blend in, they look great, they look like boiled silk.

If you live in one of the hottest regions of Russia, why not wear a beautiful cotton sundress richly decorated with lace to your graduation? These dresses are relatively cheap, practical, spectacular and you can wear them for more than one season. These fashionable, original dresses are worn by future stylists, designers and architects at graduation.

And yet, despite your taste, preferences and even budget, the most important thing for this evening is to find your own unique image, style, color, and not look at what your classmate will wear to the school ball. Your happy eyes, rainbow mood and thirst for future discoveries will cross out all doubts at the ball. Take a closer look at the mirror in the dressing room and think about what feelings will be caused by the tender, young and beautiful girl around you, whom you are now looking at so carefully and anxiously.
