Natti Natasha premiered a bachata version of her latest song, “La falta que me haces,” accompanied by a video dedicated to her partner and promoter Raphy Pina, who was sentenced to prison in Puerto Rico.
“The lack you create for me” it conveys all the feelings of the singer and everything she has kept in her heart for the past year, they point out in a press release from the artist’s office.
Also, it’s a release “double special” since the original art was created by an inmate from the same prison Pina is in and shows a tear on Natasha’s face.
Natti Natasha revealed that she is a Dominican producer Polo Parra contacted her via social media and sent him several bachata production videos.
The singer “liked it” idea and when Parra sent him the final version, decided to meet with him to finalize the production of the song.

The original version was produced by a Mexican and won an award ASCAP Awards Songwriter of the Year, Joss Favela, and the authors are him and Natasha.
The Dominican interpreter performed the song for the first time on the HK stage Latin American Music Awards 2023 with a presentation “that left the audience breathless” present. Before that, he launched the “hot” single and music video “Algarete” on his official website.
“When I sang it, at that moment I got so much support that now I decided to do it in bachata. I thought about doing it in bachata, but a group of musicians from the Dominican Republic dared to start before me and they sent me a video of musicians, one playing bass, the other playing guitar. They succeeded, it’s crazy,” Natti said in an interview yesterday.
The single with a bachata rhythm is from the label Sony Music Latin/Pina Records and is now available on all digital music platforms.
The director of the video, recorded in Miami, United States, was also Dominican Marlon Peñawho has worked for other music stars such as Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen, Wissin y Yandel, Alexis y Fido, Tito El Bambino and Nicky Jam.
