But Netflix cleverly misled us: in fact, only a handful of less spectacular licensed titles such as the Heist comedy “The Art Of The Steal” or the third season “New Amsterdam” were announced for June 1, 2023. But apparently the streaming service has many, much bigger movies in store – included “The godfather” And “The Godfather II‘, which are often regarded as two of the greatest films of all time. With a sensational average rating of 4,725 out of 5 stars, “The Godfather” is also the best movie of all for the FILMSTARTS community:

But above all, it is worthwhile for all fans of action films and thrillers to take a look at the Netflix reboots from the beginning of June, because there is really something to experience here. Presenting all the movies individually and in detail would be beyond the scope of this article, so here’s a small overview:
- “2 Guns”: Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington as undercover cops who want to enrich themselves by robbing a bank, defrauding themselves and others in the process
- “The Attack”: In this political action thriller, Ben Affleck must play the role of renowned CIA analyst Jack Ryan to prevent World War III.
- Hancock is an action comedy starring Will Smith as a bitter and drunken superhero who is taken under the care of a PR executive
- Jason Bourne: Director Paul Greengrass returns behind and actor Matt Damon faces the camera in the fifth installment in the Bourne series.
- “Pain & Gain” stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and Anthony Mackie as bodybuilders who have the (not so) bright idea of robbing a millionaire of his fortune
- “Shooter”: Mark Wahlberg again, this time as a sniper blamed for an assassination attempt on the US president
In addition, Netflix also has the aforementioned “The Art Of The Steal” and “New Amsterdam” season 3, as well as the German productions “The Divine Other”, “Wolke unterm Dach” and “The Mopes”, all of which have already been released before announced.
