Currently, Marvel has another real hit in the cinemas with “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3”. But the internet is already busy speculating about the future of the MCU franchise. The cast list for the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot has been in the picture for a long time and is always rumored and speculated about.
The MCU version of the popular superhero group won’t hit theaters until February 12, 2025, but it now appears that the final cast list is actually in place, at least according to some insiders. Leaker MyTimeToShineHello, who specializes in MCU insider information and is considered reliable, now believes the final cast list for the film has been determined – and if these truths come true, we can look forward to some top performers and fan favorites.
Next Adam Driver as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) should too Margaret Robbie as Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Paul Mescal as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) and Dave Diggs as Ben Grimm (Das Ding) in the movie.
Is Margot Robbie switching from DC to Marvel?
This election should not come as a complete surprise. Time and time again, Adam Driver and Margot Robbie have been named by fans as preferred candidates for a possible cast of the Marvel characters and have already appeared in previous casting rumors.
Adam Driver would inherit “Jack Ryan” actor John Krasinski as Reed Richards, who made a cameo appearance as the same rubber scientist from a parallel universe in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. For Margot Robbie, who previously achieved cult status as a DC villain and Joker ex Harley Quinn, this role could mark the end of an era as it likely coincides with a very likely move from comic book giants DC to Marvel.
Shooting star Paul Mescal (“Aftersun”) was also previously linked to the role of Johnny Storm. However, before he hisses across the screens like a human torch, we may see the aspiring actor star in another highly anticipated blockbuster: he’ll follow in the footsteps of Russell Crowe as the new titular character in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2 – and this cast is already confirmed.
However, Daveed Diggs has yet to appear as Ben Grimm. The ‘Hamilton’ actor, who has also made a name for himself as a voice actor in recent years – he can currently be heard as the crab Sebastian in the live-action remake of ‘The Little Mermaid’ – would therefore be a good choice as a choice, as the role of the stone Ben Grimm would probably require a lot of motion capture and voice work.
