Travel tips for Pentecost: You can experience something different here in Switzerland

Pentecost extends our next weekend. It is the ideal time to go out of the usual environment on days off. It doesn’t always have to be a long weekend in Italy or France. For a change, how about camping at a dizzying height with a tub that can be slided onto the terrace, or visiting the wellness oasis hundreds of meters below the rocks? And you don’t even have to leave the country to do that.

You won’t find a cell phone network here. You are surrounded by hundreds of meters of rocks and 2050 meters above sea level. There is no safer place to spend the night deep within our Gotthard. In 1999 the army gave up the Réduit “San Carlo” and was transformed by a foundation into the seminar hotel “La Claustra”, one of a kind in the world, for a few million francs.
