In Italy, people are more familiar with “Penne all’arrabbiata”, a traditional pasta dish from Lazio. Spicy, aromatic and extremely tasty. But it also works with spaghetti, because this dish depends on hot sauce! Pasta all’Arrabbiata is a classic Italian dish known for its spiciness and intense flavor. The name “arrabbiata” derives from the Italian word for “angry”, denoting the fiery obscenity of the sauce. It is relatively easy to prepare. The base of the sauce consists of tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, peperoncino (red chili flakes), and the occasional little parsley. Parmesan or Pecorino cheese is often sprinkled on the dish to complete the flavor. Some Tips Spaghetti should be cooked al dente to achieve the perfect consistency.
