“Star Wars” is expected to return to cinemas in December 2025 with bangs and trumpets – perhaps direct with Daisy Ridley. She will be seen again as Rey Skywalker in one of the upcoming “Star Wars” movies and is trying to build a new Jedi Order. According to a new rumor, it could two mighty spirits looking over their shoulders: Mark Hamilton as Luke Skywalker and Hayden Kristensen as Anakin – so to speak, Rey’s adoptive father and grandfather. But that’s not the sensational part of the story…
Because if the rumor is true, that’s the side want to know from reliable sources, Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen could be in a Star Wars scene together for the first time – assuming their Force Spirits “meet” in “Star Wars: New Jedi Order,” as the new movie is sometimes referred to.
Anakin and Luke Skywalker: Father and son meet as Jedi ghosts
Both actors have appeared in Star Wars so many times it’s hard to believe they’ve never shared a scene. Only their voices were heard together in one scene in The Rise of Skywalker. And the fact that Hayden Christensen was added as a Force Ghost in Return of the Jedi doesn’t really count.
Of course, anyone can now spread such a rumor. Finally, it’s also not particularly far-fetched that they’ll try to have the original Skywalkers reappear in some capacity as well, with Rey Skywalker continuing the story. cites, however, that they reported on the new Rey movie months before the official announcement of the new Rey movie at Star Wars Celebration 2023 – so the site’s sources seem pretty reliable.
This is what Star Wars 10: New Jedi Order is all about
Fifteen years after the events of Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker, Rey Skywalker will attempt to rebuild the defunct Jedi Order in Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s new film. There are rumors that Rey will not be the main character, but rather take on a mentoring role – and will now focus on other, new characters who can take the saga to a new future.
The fact that a minor reboot might be planned here kind of speaks to Disney for the entire Skywalker clan to reappear here, which some fans are demanding they finally leave alone. However, the insane popularity and cult following of these characters suggests that Disney won’t miss such a nostalgia fest – perhaps even as a surprise not widely communicated beforehand. Let’s wait!
Not sure yet ifStar Wars 10: New Jedi Orderreally is the next film in the saga in cinemas. Two other cinematic adventures are also currently in development. Dave Filoni is making a movie that aims to join the series as “The Mandalorian,” while “Logan” director James Mangold takes us deep into the past of the popular universe and tells the story of the very first Jedi. It is not yet known which of the three projects will appear first. See the article below for how it all fits into the timeline and canon:
