JA Ramonet is preparing the presentation of his second book

Writer JA Ramonet, author of the book “Sueño de lava”, is finalizing the details of the launch of his second publication entitled “Blood without stars. An anthology of stories from the bottom of my soul”, a work that has a very special meaning for him.

The post is special for I Ramonet because in it he shares feelings from his youth with the readers, since the title has stories that the author wrote in his student days.

at the beginning of the year “I do archeology” among the old boxes, from which the writer moved from Spain, he found the stories he had written when he was a student, read them again and decided to review them and rewrite some, they were at hand, to publish an anthology.

“I supplemented the stories about those times with short stories more recently,” commented the Panama America writer, who includes a brief description of what motivated the story in each story.

For Jose Antonio Ramonet (@gamerbloodlife), full name of the author, it was very fun and emotional to read the texts from more than 30 years ago. “It was interesting how, when I went through them cleanly, I remembered what followed and almost wrote them without reading the original manuscripts,” explained the writer.

Ramonet loves fantasy and fiction, so his second postunder the label Writer’s Bitácora, brings a lot, but also some social denunciation.

Edition “Blood without stars. The anthology of stories from the bottom of my soul” was announced for next month, June, when physical copies of the book will be in Panama, but the writer has not yet decided how and where it will be published.

One thing Ramonet is clear about is that it wants to attract the group very diverse readers those who have already enjoyed their first book, since the anthology is ready to offer, within fantasy, different genres and writing styles.

“(…) There are long stories and others that fit in short story category, with only a hundred words,” explained Ramonet.

Competition

To prepare the ground for the launch of the book and since May is his birthday month, JA Ramonet launched a micro story competition to encourage people not only to read, but also to write.

Three winners will be selected to receive certificates from UV shop. JA Ramonet then specified the conditions for participating in the tender.

– All writers who want to can participate. For persons under the age of 18, the consent of a parent or guardian is required. Entrants must be followers of the @gamerbloodlife Instagram account.

– Stories will have a maximum length of 100 words, be framed in the fantasy genre and sent in Word or PDF format.

– Stories are accepted until at midnight on May 31, 2023.

– Stories must be sent by post [email protected] In the body of the e-mail, they must state the author’s name, ID, phone number and social network.

– The evaluation committee will evaluate the works and issue its own appreciation during the first June, the judge’s decision will be final. After that, the winners will be notified.
