Cosculluela was convicted of domestic violence

José Fernando Cosculluela, artistically known as Cosculluela, was sentenced to three years of probation for domestic violence against his ex-wife Jennifer Fungeniz.

The sentence was handed down shortly after the reading of the results of the report entrusted to the Parole Board at the Humacao court in Puerto Rico.

On March 21, Cosculluela reached an agreement with Public service and found guilty on 13 counts of the indictment for violating Law 54 on prevention and intervention in domestic violence.

By agreement, fees for possession semi-automatic without a license and aiming or shooting a firearm.

After the sentence, “El Príncipe”, as he is also called, reacted in social networks and wrote: “Thanks to those from above who now really want to see me, they will have to see me stronger than ever.”

Cosculluela was arrested on October 14 last year, following a complaint by Fungeniz, where he accused him of subjecting her to a pattern domestic violence.

In the preliminary hearing of the trial, Fungeniz stated that her ex-husband assaulted her during their relationship pregnancyhe was unfaithful and burned his clothes.

One of the latest events was the burning of Fungeniza’s vehicle, which was not linked to the artist, but was among suspects.

“The judge explained that five reports for abuse (Art. 3.1), three for serious abuse (Art. 3.2) and five for the criminal offense of abuse by threat (Art. 3.3) were filed under Law 54, as well as two violations of Articles 6.09 and 6.14 of the Arms Act”, reported “El Tiempo”.
