Ironically, Harry Potter: Student Fails in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” bang at the 125,000 euro question!

Okay, the joke is no longer the latest, but moderator Günther Jauch still addresses his candidate: “”

The student-teacher then bravely fights his name handicap – and meets the question of 32,000 euros. But then Jauch asks him a movie/book question and wants to know:

“Which series of novels are mainly set between 1991 and 1998?”

The four possible answers are:

  • A.”The hunger Games
  • B.”Harry Potter
  • C.”Shades of grey
  • D.”Lord of the Rings

The answer is immediately obvious, right?

In the case of the fantasy series, it is particularly simple

Let’s get the obvious wrong answers out of the way first: Lord of the Rings takes place in a fantasy world created by author JRR Tolkien himself and specifically in the Middle-earth region. Since the years are counted very differently there than on our earth, the journey of Frodo Baggins & Co. to Mount Doom NOT taking place in the years 1991 to 1998.

The matter is equally clear “The hunger Games”: After all, the nation of Panem only emerged from the remnants of the US, which was devastated by civil wars and natural disasters – so the fantasy series is set on our Earth, but there in an undetermined future and certainly not in the 1990s.

“Fifty Shades” or “Harry Potter”

So the youth book mega hit and the SM scandal series remain: Even if you don’t know exactly when the two series play, you could have at least found out from the time period requested. 1991 to 1998 – that’s seven years, exactly as long as Harry Potter went to school at Hogwarts, because each of the seven parts in the series spans one school year.

But Kevin saw it differently and confidently stated: ““ Ouch!

Instead, the candidate logged the answer “Shades Of Gray” (set in the 2010s) – dropping to $16,000. Well, to be honest, he deserved nothing else…

However, Kevin is far from the only one who failed the story of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” because of a not so difficult question on the subject of “movie”…
