That’s what Bill Clinton has to do with “Masturbation May”.

May is known internationally as “Masturbation May”. The month aims to celebrate the right to masturbate and break the taboo on masturbation. Responsible for the existence of “Masturbation May” is none other than Bill Clinton.

While in office in 1993, the former president hired Joycelyn Elders as a public health administrator in his office. After just under a year, however, he released the then 60-year-old. The reason for this: The trained physician had suggested that masturbation be a classroom topic in public schools.

Even then she was convinced that masturbation is part of human sexuality and should have been normalized for young people long ago.

However, Bill Clinton found this proposal anything but appropriate and fired Elders Ende in December 1994.

The story caused quite a stir at the time, as many could not understand the president’s decision. There was so much headwind that adult entertainment company Good Vibrations decided to create a holiday in honor of Joycelyn Elders. On May 9, 1995, the “Day of Masturbation” was celebrated for the first time.

Because so many sympathized with the Elders story, International Masturbation Day has since expanded to include the entire month of May as International Masturbation Month.
