The magical world of Hogwarts couldn’t be more detailed. In it you can discover many secret places and magical items that work according to their own rules. There are also numerous Easter eggs in the “Harry Potter” movies starring Daniel Radcliffe and Co. demolished, which makes fans happy. Today we present you one that could not be more inconspicuous and at the same time tells you something about the whole course of the series.
We would be dealing with a magical artifact: the Marauder’s Map. It is an extremely useful tool in the magical world. It shows all the activities on the Hogwarts grounds. Exactly what you need if you want to avoid danger or an annoying teacher. However, it carries certain risks. You can imagine that there are activities where you do not want to be observed.
The Marauder’s Map reveals an important detail
The makers of the map have immortalized themselves on this. Moon (Lupin), Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew), Padfoot (Sirius Black) and Crown (James Potter) solemnly acknowledge their participation. So far you are probably aware. What you may not know: the order in which the characters introduce themselves plays an important role. It spoils you when the characters will die. But don’t worry, the Easter Egg can only be spotted by viewers who are sufficiently familiar with the history of Harry and friends.
Because in exactly the reverse order, the makers bless the temporal. First, James Potter is killed by Lord Voldemort. In the 5th part he is followed by Sirius, who is killed in front of Harry by Bellatrix. Wormtail dies in the Malfoy’s basement. In the end, Lupine dies in the Battle of Hogwarts. This Easter egg is particularly difficult to spot as it can only be noticed after multiple viewings of the series. You know and see it by now: Easter eggs can sometimes also be minor spoilers.
