Ana de Armas begins her ‘Saturday Night Live’ monologue

Spanish-Cuban actress Ana de Armas began her monologue on the popular New York-based show “Saturday Night Live” in Spanish on Saturday night.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you very much,” he said spanish at the beginning of her monologue the interpreter.

“I’ve had an amazing year and I’m so happy to be here representing program tonight,” he added.

“It’s a joke, I speak Englishhe continued in English.

In the rest of his monologue, he explained that when he arrived United States at 26 years old he did not understand or speak English and that the series “Friends” helped him learn the language.

The Colombian singer Karol G was also in the program.

Ana De Armas continues like this with the tradition that began to be noticed in the last monologues of the bilingual actors on “Saturday Night Live”.

The list includes: actress Anya Taylor-Joy – from an Argentinian family – greeted musical guest Lil Nas X in Spanish, and Chilean Pedro Pascal asked his family in Spanish to stop giving out his phone number.

Spanish-Cuban actress Ana de Armas was nominated this year for a Oscar for the role in the movie “Blonde”.
