Cultural agenda: What to do this weekend?

The weekend has arrived and a series of attractive activities that you can do in the company of family or friends. Some are open to the public and others have cheap admission.

Usually, some people wait for weekends to walk with their loved ones. With them in mind, here we bring you certain activities that they can attend. There is something for all tastes and ages. Take note!

Friday the 14th

He university cinema will show the films “Hostal” and “Mártires” at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., respectively.

In Eli Roth’s “Hostel” (2005), two Americans search for beautiful women in a hostel in Slovakia that hides a secret.

While in “Martyrs” (2008) by Pascal Laugier, a young woman who has been tortured seeks her attacker to take revenge and falls into a circle of madness.

Saturday the 15th

– Don’t miss the collage workshop with natural elements next door Botanical Park Foundationfrom 15:30 to 17:30 at El Contenedor MAC.

Intended for children aged 6 and older. The entrance is free. For more details @mac_panama

– Everything is ready for Pollera Conference, where the topic “Chambras, basquiñas and camisoles” will be covered. Folklorist and researcher Eduardo Cano will be in charge of the gathering.

It will be held at 14:00 at the Gladys Vidal Theater – Ground Floor, Hatillo Building (Panama City Hall). Admission is free, but the number of places is limited.

– This Sunday, the II Devil Festival will be held in Cathedral square in the Old Town, where you can learn more about Diablos espejos de Colón, Danza del Gran Diablo de La Chorrera, Diablico Sucio de La Villa and Diablo Congo de Portobelo or Tun Tun.

The schedule in which this activity will take place is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m

– You can look around the workshop color and research together with the El Caño Foundation.
