65-inch 4K TV heavily discounted at Amazon: This OLED TV offers more HDR formats than LG, Sony and Samsung

Hisense is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of 4K televisions. And also in the field of UKD projectors with true 4K, the Chinese offer excellent value for money.

The A9H also comes with a lot of technology for relatively little money. Amazon currently offers you 40 percent or 1000 euros discount on the suggested retail price and has the Hisense A9H with 65 inches for only 1499 euros. But beware: only a few models are still available.

The Hisense A9H has that advantage over the competition from LG and Co

Probably the biggest argument for the Hisense A9H compared to the top performers LG, Samsung and Sony is the support of the two dynamic HDR formats HDR10+ adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ. The major manufacturers, on the other hand, only support one format at a time.

“Dynamic” in this context means that the contrast range and color gamut is adjusted scene by scene, so you always get the best image. HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision IQ also individually adjust the picture to your lighting conditions in the home cinema, further enhancing the viewing experience.

Otherwise, the Hisense A9H offers an OLED typical excellent image in 4K resolution with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This makes the smart TV perfect for smooth sports broadcasts and gaming with the latest consoles. Gaming technologies such as VRR and ALLM in combination with two HDMI 2.1 inputs ensure latency-free gaming.

The Hisense A9H’s smart TV system also cuts a good figure and supports all major streaming services. You can optionally operate the 4K TV via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

If you are now wondering why such a good OLED TV can be so cheap, there are of course also disadvantages. The peak brightness of the Hisense A9H doesn’t come close to that of the competitiontherefore films and series in brightly lit home cinemas are not recommended.

The best alternatives to Hisense TV

An alternative to the A9H is the Samsung QN90B, which currently has 65 inches at MediaMarkt currently costs 1444 euros. There is also a voucher of 200 euros from MediaMarkt, so you effectively only pay 1,244 euros.

Samsung’s Neo-QLED TV impresses with its small backlight LEDs, which clearer demarcation of light and dark image areas enable. In addition, the QN90B offers a good anti-reflection coating and a wide viewing angle. In return, however, you have to accept the lack of Dolby Vision support.

Another alternative to the Hisense A9H is the LG OLED B2, which is currently in the 65-inch version for a discount of 1300 euros 1499 euros at MediaMarkt* gives. Here too you get an excellent image thanks to the OLED display, Dolby Vision IQ and 120 Hz and two HDMI 2.1 inputs have been installed. Only HDR10+ is not supportedtherefore many productions on Amazon Prime Video can be played “only” encoded with HDR10.
