He will hold the first congress against burnout

There will be 12 speeches by speakers from around the world who will be presented at the first Ibero-American Congress against burning.

“Rest!” is the name of this event that will take place in Casa de Campo (La Romana), Dominican Republic, between June 29 and July 2 this year.

This conference, in the organization Rest is the foundation for human rights (VIAHR), wants to draw attention to this syndrome defined by the World Health Organization as the result of “chronic stress at the workplace, which has not been successfully managed”.

It will cover three main thematic areas: productivity, personal well-being and mindful pausing, topics that will be discussed and analyzed by a select group of speakers including journalists, neuroscientists, mental health counselors and physicians, among others.

Maria Mendez, founder Rest is a human right and who suffered the consequences of burning, will share her experiences and what she learned along the way that led her to help other people.
