The New York Times promotes Panama as a destination

The New York Times published a publication about Panama as part of its “36 Hours” segment, where it promotes destinations that can be explored in a weekend and make the perfect itinerary for it.

Johannesburg, Taipei (Taiwan), Nashville, Rio de Janeiro and Miami are some of the destinations that were published in the New York newspaper, and this March 30, it was Panama’s turn.

“If you are in Panama City in just 36 hours without plans, we have the perfect itinerary,” reads part of the publication.

In the note of the mentioned media, it is pointed out that the capital of the country is in “eternal bloom” and “Shopping Mall“, next to the Canal, and that “it is between cosmopolitan capitals forgotten in America”.

“The glittering skyscrapers and an eclectic culinary landscape, including local restaurants, dim sum palaces, French bistros and kosher supermarkets reflect the international character of the city”.

They also point out that the capital of the country is a place where history is felt underfoot and even point out that it is current Canal Museum has a permanent exhibition on the country’s path to sovereignty.

It is among the places recommended in the publication to visit Amador Causewayhe Mola Museum and Fondo What There Is.

– Amador Causeway has a view of the city and the canal. It also offers a way to find wild life in it Punta Culebra Nature Center and a snack at Capitán Bahía.

– The Museo de la Mola displays a distinctive textile art indigenous people Guna, including 200 moles with color applications. It also offers interactive and immersive exhibitions.

– Fonda Lo Que Hay serves shareable dishes that celebrate gastronomic culture an international festival from the two coasts of Panama in a festive atmosphere full of music.
