LG OLED G2: the highest quality 4K TV from LG 2022
The G series is the absolute non-plus ultra of LG’s 4K TV range and, unlike the other LG models, uses a OLED evo display. The G1 was already convincing, but the G2 raised the bar even higher in 2022.
The OLED evo display has another thin layer of luminous material that provides a higher peak brightness and richer colors gives. Compared to the previous model G1, the G2 also offers an even better image thanks to a new processor and leads many leaderboards.

However, the leap in quality is reflected in the price. With 55 inches, the LG OLED G3 currently costs 2799 euros at MediaMarkt.
A cheap alternative to the LG OLED G2 is the LG OLED CS9the 55-inch model of which is currently available from Amazon 47 percent discount is available for 1111 euros.
In principle, the CS9 is slightly weaker than the G2 in all areas. However, the image quality is still excellent, although not as bright as the flagship. Otherwise, with the CS9 you also get a 120 Hertz display, Dolby Vision support and four HDMI 2.1 inputs, as well as an excellent Smart TV menu.
