It is common knowledge that we all make mistakes. Film and series makers are of course no exception. And since there are often minor and major blunders on the screen or screen, there are even people who have made it their job to track down and sort out these errors. The amazing thing is that you can watch some movies or episodes over and over without finding the mistakes yourself.
That certainly also applies to the popular sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle”, which ran for 151 episodes from 2000 to 2006 and should also ensure that Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”) could really take off. At the center of the series is gifted teen Malcolm (Frankie Muniz), who somehow tries to control his life as his chaotic family creates new disasters almost every day. With a Disney+ subscription you can currently watch all seasons.
Did you discover the error?
Malcolm in the Middle Season 7 Episode 5 (“The Bee’s Head”) is about Hal (Cranston) being chased by an angry bee after throwing out the bee’s nest in the garage. The episode’s grandiose flaw has to do with another character: namely Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan). At 15 minutes and 41 seconds he is lying in bed playing with his Gameboy. Nothing special, right? But on closer inspection it becomes clear that there is no game in the Gameboy!
An innocent mistake, which of course has no serious (logical) consequences, but is simply hilarious when you have discovered it. There are certainly many more such blunders to discover in “Malcolm in the Middle”, which could also be a reason for you to see the grandiosely uninhibited sitcom for the first time or simply to watch it again. Either way, the series is fun.
