Ben Affleck does not want a sequel to ‘Good Will Hunting’

American actor Ben Affleck has said that he is not interested in filming a sequel to the film “Good Will Hunting”, which he wrote and which brought him his first Oscar in 1998.

“There are ideas about how it could be, but it’s not a sequel we’re going to deal with,” the 50-year-old actor told Variety.

Affleck and Matt Damon catapulted his career by writing and acting in film “Good Will Hunting” (1997), directed by independent film icon Gus Van Sant.

A film that also had an Oscar winner in the cast robin williamsshowed the life of a young man who finds his talent in mathematics while he worked as the mayor of a prestigious university.

A story that was then created by two initial promises Hollywood it became a box office success and got nine nominations to awards Academyof which he won two.

It was Damon who admitted that someone “serious” had offered his friend and colleague a sequel to “Good Will Hunting”, after being questioned about “craziest scenario” what they proposed to do.

I swear that won’t happen… I couldn’t believe what I heard, Damon said.

Affleck and Damon are doing it right now promotion movie airstarring both and the project that returned Affleck to the role of director, after doing so in films such as “Argo” (2012) or “The Town” (2010).

“Air” is a sports drama that closely follows a commercial deal that a Nike employee wants to make with an iconic player Michael Jordan to create the Air Jordan shoe line.

Affleck and Damon have a long list of joint works, among which the tapes stand out “Field of Dreams” (1989), “Dogma” (1999), “Chasing Amy” (1997), to name a few.
