The big flagship of Amazon Prime Video in April 2023 is of course “Citadel”. With a budget of up to $250 million for just six episodes, the reportedly second most expensive series of all time (only “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” cost more) comes from the “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: End game”. creators Joe and Anthony Russo and should offer us agent action around the world.

Superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Game Of Thrones star Richard Madden play former cops whose past lives have been erased. But now they are needed again because a syndicate wants to take over the world.
The megaseries project would result in numerous spin-offs set in other corners of the world, and a second season has already been confirmed. The first season will be available from April 28, 2023.
“Dead Ringers”: Cronenberg cult as a series remake
A second series production coming exclusively to Amazon Prime Video in April is “Dead Ringers” – a remake of David Cronenberg’s cult horror film of the same name (aka “Die Unzertrennlichen” in Germany).
Rachel Weisz follows in Jeremy Irons’ footsteps as twins who share everything from drugs to sex partners. Above all, both are obsessed with research and willing to push all boundaries and let no ethics slow them down to improve the health care system. The new edition, available from April 22, 2023, featured Sean Durkin (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”) and Karyn Kusama (“Jennifer’s Body”), among others.
“Fall”: Be careful with fear of heights
Not an exclusive title, but via Amazon there will be a streaming subscription in Germany for the first time from April 1, 2023 just a few months after the home theater premiere “Fall – Fear Reaches New Heights”. Scott Mann’s new film (“Final Score”) about two women fighting for survival at dizzying heights has recently become a real thriller insert tip. But be careful: as the author of these lines can confirm from personal experience, seeing people with a fear of heights can really get on their nerves!
There are also plenty of other titles that should interest you – from Hollywood fare like “Old”, “Snake Eyes” and “Birds Of Prey” to the horror insider tip “Hatching” and of course the fourth edition of the successful comedy Show “LOL : The last to laugh”.
