Ronaldo’s wife Georgina: ‘My children are beaten up at school’

Christiano Ronaldo has had a regular partner at his side since 2016: Georgina Rodriguez. Born in Argentina, she is nine years younger than the football star, who has since disappeared from European club level. Ronaldo has been playing for al-Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia since early 2023. The patchwork family of seven moved to the desert and now lives there in luxury, after all Ronaldo would earn 200 million euros a year.

But the ideal world has scratches. Georgina Rodriguez revealed this in an interview on the Spanish TV show “El Hormiguero” on the occasion of the second season of her Netflix series “I am Georgina”. “They get beaten up at school and never fight back,” the 29-year-old said of the offspring.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have two daughters together, the youngest is only seven months old. In addition, the 38-year-old footballer brought three older children into the relationship. His eldest son is twelve years old: Christiano jr. plays football himself, is under contract with Manchester United.

“I know because they often come home crying,” Rodriguez continues in the interview. “Then I tell them, ‘Don’t you know how to defend yourself?’ But the truth is I never want my kids to hit people.”

The reasons for the bullying are unclear. Is it because of the very wealthy parents, the reputation of Portugal’s partly controversial national player? In any case, materially, the children lack nothing. Still, Rodriguez tries to give her children real life, she explains in the interview. “Cristiano and I both come from humble backgrounds.
