Bring on your wildest dreams!

team watson

Before you tell us your dream, you can settle into our subconscious a little. If Freud were alive, he would be happy: “You say you have missing teeth? You want to sleep with your mother.”

So let’s immerse ourselves in the world of the repressed and hidden, where mysterious symbols and vague images reign that our minds cannot comprehend.

Except, perhaps, in the case of Löpfe.

“I keep dreaming that I have yet to finish my Liz.”
Philip Lopfe

“The first dream of my life that I can remember was totally dada. I was four or five years old and the dream went like this: I am lying in my bed, in my room. The room is bigger than usual, red roses are growing out of the floor. Many beautiful red roses, like those that grow in front of our house, also in the border. Where the window normally sits, there is a large, old, dark cupboard. His door is open. In the closet is a white toilet. Then nothing. Not a word, not a move, not a fear, not a punchline. Only: roses, cupboard, toilet. »
Simon Meier

“Unfortunately, far too often I dream that my teeth are falling out. They will then loosen or crumble. But sometimes I just put the tooth back in its “place” and move on with my life. In my dreams, of course, the dentist never has time for me or I can no longer find the practice. Funnily enough, I learned from my pre-dreams in my dreams. For example, in Zahntraum 3, I already know that he was on vacation in Zahntraum 2 and things like that. Strange shit.”
Madeleine Sigrist

«I dream of wild chases almost every night. I really like dreaming that. But if there is an exam or something, then I dream that I have to retake my math exam. Those are always horror dreams (greetings to my math teacher, I liked the subject and you actually, but the Matura was really bad!).»
Yasmin Muller

«I keep dreaming that I have to do my final math exam and I’m very stressed because I’m late, but everyone around me is very relaxed. I always fail the test – if I can pass it. I haven’t had math in 6 years.”
Sabeth Vela

“I had a creepy, recurring dream for a while:

I walked through the same forest over and over again until I came to the same slide on the side of the road. There I slide down (logical, who doesn’t?). Suddenly I found myself in an empty, dark indoor swimming pool and felt an incredible fear of which I don’t know to this day. Anyway, I heard a strange drip coming from the shower cubicles which I wanted to investigate. On the way to the door, which was ajar, my heart beat faster and faster – almost as if something was waiting for me behind the door. The moment I want to enter the shower cubicles, I wake up. each. damn. Just now.”

«My family owns a cottage in southern Italy. To get from the kitchen to the dining room you have to go down two flights of stairs. I’ve been dreaming the same thing over and over for almost 30 years. I stand in the kitchen of the house and walk towards the dining room. The first phase works great. In the second stage, I fail and fall. Most of us know what happens next – I wake up!

I would like to master the second phase at some point as well. At least it works in real life (so far).»
Valentina Boschi

“I remember very well a dream I used to have as a teenager. I don’t even know if it was months or years – it was certainly a very long period of time.

I dreamed that I ran through a forest, was followed and had to find a very large abandoned house. Once I found it, I had to lock all the entrances, windows and doors as quickly as possible before the anonymous figure of a man arrived at the house and found one of the entrances. Every night was a race against the clock full of panic and I was hardly ever on time. I know that in my dream I tried to find the most logical way to go into lockdown, but there was none. Sometimes there were other people in the house who knew me, but I cannot say who they represented. I tried to get them to help me, but they just sat or followed me and watched my efforts. I yelled at them after a while to do something, just ANYTHING, but they always remained silent observers.

I can’t say for sure if I was dead by the time the anonymous man got in, but it was definitely over by then.”
Melina Bokop

“I’ve had the same dream over and over since I was 7 years old, so it’s been about 26 years. The last time I had it was a few months ago.

I am in a jungle on a platform high in the mountains. Everything is surrounded by green plants, only the platform is made of concrete and reaches into the abyss at an angle of 90 degrees on a straight edge. In the dream I dance with a blonde woman in a white dress. However, I don’t see her face or I can never remember it. We dance slowly and finally go over the edge, but don’t fall off. Finally I realize that we float, startle and then wake up…»
Sergio Mining

“I’m traveling with a group. Somewhere. We pass a booth selling photographs. The photographs show bloodied, cut-open faces and dead, mauled bodies. The seller’s offer: you can choose a cause of death, dress accordingly, make up and finally be photographed that way.

Suddenly we are led into a huge arena. It’s like a giant clay colosseum, except there are no seats and there’s a big black lake in the middle. Professor’s Lake.

When we’re all inside, the doors close. There is no way back. Everyone dispersed, I’m in the water. A young man splashes next to me as an arrow shoots at him out of nowhere, enters his chin from below and then rips open his entire face with it.
I scream.
The face lands in the water right next to me.

Suddenly I realize: the photos shown showed real corpses. People want to flee. A little boy opens a big wooden door in the mud wall. A whole deluge of long, heavy wooden sticks falls out. Anyone who touches it freezes. A slimy fluid shoots out of their pores and engulfs them until they cannot move. They die.
The professor laughs. He sits somewhere, watches us and enjoys it.

Professor’s Lake. It’s a book. I hold it in my hands. It tells the whole story. Desperately, I search for the passage that describes current events. I want to know what happens next, how it all ends. I open the book and scan a random page. My aunt is in it. Shocked, she says to me, “They never found your mother and your brother.” What does she mean by that? The story is not that far yet. I have to prevent this. With trembling hands I scroll further forward. The professor talks about his great love, he does everything for her. I scroll on. I like the place.

We’re not even halfway there yet. The torture has only just begun.
[Erinnerungslücke]
The professor takes the few survivors from the arena. I belong too.”
Salome Worlen

«I would describe my ‘dream life’ as very vivid – so have some dream stories up my sleeve. But my strangest/scariest dream was definitely this:

I ‘wake up’ quite normally in my bed to go to the toilet. But when I got back to my room, my body was still in bed and I couldn’t connect to my body or come back into my body. I was incredibly happy when I actually woke up and everything (my body and mind) was where it should be.»
Leonie Greg

And indicate whether you would be willing to have your dream interpreted by a dream interpreter, because the Talmud already says: “An uninterpreted dream is like an unopened letter.” So if we find a suitable letter opener, our dreams will soon be read bravely!
