11 Moments That Prove Pedro Pascal Is Probably The Funniest Hollywood Star Right Now

Pedro Pascal can be seen in the game adaptation “The Last of Us” on Monday night as a grumpy loner with a soft heart, on Wednesday as a bounty hunter in “The Mandalorian”. But he also shines in interviews.

Series lovers (and nerds in any case) can no longer ignore the name Pedro Pascal. He celebrated his big breakthrough with “Game of Thrones” and “Narcos”. He currently stars in two hit series: The Last of Us, the finale of which airs this Monday, and the third season of The Mandalorian.

In both roles, he plays a father figure who takes care of a child he didn’t want at first.

The Chilean actor touches the hearts of fans not only with his roles, but also with his funny and charismatic personality.

Here’s a best of them:

Pascal gave an interview for Vanity Fair while taking a lie detector test. In it, he confessed that he sometimes googles himself and would never call Grogu Baby Yoda.

Less than a year later, “Baby Yoda” slipped in front of the camera and he immediately regretted it:

His friendship with Oscar Isaac:

In 2019, they starred together in the action movie “Triple Frontier” and answered the most Googled questions about themselves for “WIRED”:

For “Saturday Night Live” he made a trailer for a “Super Mario” movie. Fans think he would be a better Mario than Chris Pratt, who stars in the upcoming Mario movie.

Also for SNL, he played a Latina mom in a skit, as she is by the book.

Pascal said that Oberyn Martell – his character in Game of Thrones – changed his life and in the same breath joked that “Oberyn is the whore I would like to be”.

Pedro Pascal’s mustache is listed as his trademark on IMDB and he thinks it’s fitting. Before filming on Narcos began, Pascal was in a play that Narcos’ producer saw and told him to keep the mustache he has worn ever since.

Pedro Pascal gets along with Bella Ramsey, his co-star in “The Last of Us”. Filming welded them together. Ramsey said in an interview that the atmosphere on set was completely different when Pascal wasn’t there.

The 47-year-old actor is especially popular on TikTok. The hashtag #pedropascal has been viewed more than 5 billion times, including many Mondays about appearance. Pascal takes it with humor and also made one about himself:

In “Game of Thrones,” his character had one of the most gruesome deaths in the series. At the Season 8 premiere, he created the scene on the red carpet.

And he tried to kill his on-screen killer, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson:

In “Narcos,” Pascal plays a DEA agent named Javier Peña. When asked if there are things he would like to keep from the DEA, Pascal replied, “Anything I don’t regret.”
