Agenda: Events for this weekend

The commemoration of International Women’s Day continues and this weekend, various activities will be organized on the occasion of that date, and will extend throughout the entire month.

The documentary exhibition “Winning Women of the Ricardo Miró Contest”, curated by Mario García Hudson, is currently open to the public in the Panama Room of the National Library from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Artistic women who inspire will present artistic presentations, presentations by authors Orchestra Networktalks, sale and signing of books by Panamanian writers, handicraft stands and more.

On the other hand, as part of the commemoration of St International summer school From 2023, the call is open, until March 15, for “Expo Mujer 2023”, an exhibition in honor of women.

The invitation is addressed to visual artists, the techniques and dimensions are free, and the works are accepted at Manuel E. Amador Art Gallery. The inauguration will take place on March 21 and will last until April 7.
