Most gardeners fail when watering. It should not be too much or too little. And it also depends on location, weather and the plant itself! Important: Use your finger to feel how moist the soil is. If it is dry, you should water it. You give water to the soil, not to the plant. The soil should always be moist, never stay wet for long, and never completely dry out.

Use stale tea, coffee, dried leaves, straw, nettle, or dried parts of your patio herbs. Crush, then cover the soil around your plants with a thin layer!
