New this week on Netflix: A known and a new serial killer and a ghost mobile

Like every Sunday, we present you a preview of the upcoming week’s Netflix releases. It is not a complete overview of all titles, but a list with the interesting starts – sorted by weekday. Here are the Netflix highlights from the week of March 6-12, 2023.

Monday: Start the week with a ghost mobile

At the start of the week, there’s a new, quite promising-sounding thriller comedy series from Korea with a delightfully wacky story. In Unlock My Boss the CEO of a technology company is murdered. But the ghost of the dead man then wanders into his high-tech smartphone. A shabby university graduate accidentally stumbles upon it. With his help, the CEO now wants to solve his own murder, in which his young partner must first rise through the ranks of the new company boss…

Tuesday: Watchlist time

Netflix has yet to announce a title for Tuesday. So there is plenty of time to finish your watch list, which will surely be full.

Wednesday: Off to Croatia

Today International Women’s Day and holiday for all Berliners is reinforced by Netflix with the new film from “Gut gegen Nordwind” director Vanessa Jopp. The one that appears exclusively on the streaming service Far away can also create a little holiday mood. Finally, the focus is on a woman who, irritated, leaves her everyday family life behind and flees to a Croatian island to take possession of a house that her recently deceased mother has secretly bought. But there is already a man alive…

Thursday: The sympathetic serial killer is back

So far the fourth season of You – you will love me only half on Netflix. That changes Thursday with the release of the missing episodes. Then we find out how Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is faring in London and whether the sympathetic stalker and serial killer might be able to come out after all…

Friday: Idris Elba vs Andy Serkis

Also, there’s a serial killer in a movie highlight coming out Friday. Luther: The Fallen Sun is a sequel to the successful crime series, but should also work as a solo film. All you need to know for this is that John Luther (Idris Elba) used to be Britain’s coolest cop, but has such trouble with the rules that he’s now in jail because of the beginning of the Netflix movie. But he doesn’t stay there for long, as he breaks out to stop the sinister serial killer David Robey (Andy Serkis).

Saturday and Sunday: watchlist time #2

Netflix hasn’t announced anything for the weekend yet, but this could change in the short term. So it’s time to work through your watch list again – or you can already add new titles that will be released during the rest of the month:
