Ready to go back to school with Chichica Foundation

The Chichica Foundation raised more than $15,000 in three months of work and then donated it to more than 75 students from three hard-to-reach communities in the northern region of Penonomé.

Over the weekend of February 25, more than 25 volunteers organized the logistics to reach out to the communities and equip the students, between the ages of 12 and 18, with backpacks containing school supplies, full uniforms and food bags to return to class. part of the “Somos Padrino” program.

Marisabel Salas, Director of Fundraising for the Foundation (@fundacionchichica), he explained that donations which the students received thanks to the support sponsors, volunteers and various activities that were carried out in order to raise resources.

How to contribute? Chichica accepts donations of $5.00 per month or with impact projects to facilitate the education of young people today living without electric light, drinking water without access roads, but with a lot of dreams and a desire to progress.
