“He told me he thought I was too fat”

Hello all

A few months ago I met a guy online and we talked and talked on the phone many nights. We also facetimed. After two or three weeks, we decided it was time to meet up. I was very excited because I was already a little smitten. And then the day came!

I went to him in Bern (I live in Basel) and we spent a wonderful day together. We went for a walk, drank tea, talked… from my point of view it was actually really nice.

Then it got late and I asked if we still wanted to eat together or what his future plans were. He then pushed around saying he had something else to do and wasn’t quite sure if there was any food left in it or not. I better go home and we’ll see.

I thought that was strange, but okay, then I left.

On the train I wrote to him that I liked it and that I hope we see each other again soon.

And it came back that it’s not going to work because he thinks I’m too fat. only that

Who does such a thing?

I’m really offended and hurt and I don’t feel like dating anyone anymore.
