Soon the RTL jungle camp will start – what you need to know

Welcome to Watson’s first (and possibly last) update on the RTL jungle camp 2023.

Here’s who was persuaded to do “I’m a star – get me out of here” this year, who recently moderated the party, and – which is why we all finally clicked on the article – whether Dr. Bob is there again this year.

On January 13, 2023 at 9:30 p.m. The esteemed C-celebrities have already boarded a plane to Australia on New Year’s Day, where they will first stay in a luxury hotel and acclimatize before being abducted into the jungle by the rangers.

Since sorting by importance is almost impossible, let’s try in alphabetical order:

We know (possibly) because: Reality star, winner of “Beauty & the Nerd”.

We know because: former player wife.

We know because: DSDS cult figure, “Big Brother” resident, “Summer House of the Stars” contestant, self-proclaimed “Checker vom Neckar”.

We know because: Actress, esoteric fan.

We (don’t) know because: Influencer, Youtuber.

We know because: Musician and son of singer and jungle king Costa Cordalis. His mother-in-law, Iris Klein, as well as her daughter Jenny Frankhauser and her stepfather Peter Klein have already tried it out in the bush. Should have gone to camp in 2022 but was sick.

We know because: Reality TV star, contestant on ‘Ex On The Beach’. Favorite guest on «TV Total».

We know because: Was apparently a well-known pop singer (“I want fun”) in the 1980s.

We know because: Among others known from «Das Boot», actor.

We know because: international model.

We know because: former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate.

We know because: Ex-girlfriend of Oliver Kahn, presenter.

Jan Köppen is the new man at Sonja Zietlow’s side after Daniel Hartwich announced last year that he no longer wanted to moderate the show for personal reasons.

We already know Köppen from “Ninja Warrior Germany” – and felt from every other RTL show.

A favorite is probably Lucas Cordalis, for whom the jungle camp is almost a family affair. Only his too smooth style can cost Lucas victory: after all, the jungle needs a king with rough edges.

Our tip for the jungle crown: reality star Gigi Birofio, who may not score with the public with intelligence, but with charm and (unwanted) humor.
