Schmuggleralm, Samnaun GR

Quaint, rustic and comfortable. This is how the Schmuggler-Alm restaurant describes itself. The restaurant owes its name to the Tyrolean smugglers who roamed Samnaun in the post-war period. According to the story, mountain farmers secretly transported private goods from Switzerland to Tyrol.
Definitely worth a visit to the historic mountain restaurant. The after-ski party starts at 15:00. DJs provide a good atmosphere and loud music. Homemade smugglers’ beer and smugglers’ spirits are particularly famous.
