3rd season “The Mandalorian” coming in March +++ “Top Gun” is back in cinemas

Top Gun: Maverick, the highest-grossing film of the year, is back in theaters. Disney also announced the start date for the third season of The Mandalorian. This and all other geek news here at a glance.

Din Djarin and Grogu return after two years. Disney has announced the third season of the “Star Wars” spin-off The Mandalorian will be released on Disney Plus on March 1, 2023.

The trailer of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, the seventh film in the franchise, has been released. The film was long overdue in cinemas, but was repeatedly postponed. The new start date is June 8, 2023.

This time, however, the story isn’t just about Optimus Prime or Bumblebee, the focus is on new Autobots. New heroes also mean new villains – this time from the camp of the Terrorcons and Decepticons. However, the focus is on the Maximals, close relatives of the Autobots who look like giant machine-shaped animals.

What happens when a bear finds cocaine? The movie “Cocaine Bear”, which is based on true events from 1985, follows just that. The bear died just minutes after ingesting millions of dollars worth of cocaine. Unlike the movie, where the bear terrorizes the locals, the real case has no evidence that it attacked humans.

Ray Liotta, who passed away in May, will appear in his final role. Other leading roles include Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The Swiss cinema release is scheduled for April 6.

For the third part of Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”, Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios) released the first trailer at this year’s Comic Con in São Paulo, Brazil.

The misfit group’s mission is still to protect the universe. Because if they don’t pull this off, it could mean the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The superhero film will be shown in Swiss cinemas on May 3.

27 weeks after the premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick”, the movie returns to the cinema in a big way. The action movie starring Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Miles Teller hits theaters December 1, though it’s already available to stream and on DVD. Top Gun: Maverick is the highest-grossing film of the year, earning $1.4 billion.

Orc leader Adar was played by Joseph Mawle in the first season of The Lord of the Rings spin-off series, The Rings of Power. He wrote on Twitterthat it is his desire to explore new characters and worlds.

Mawle will be replaced by Sam Hazeldine, who starred in The Witcher and Peaky Blinders.
