Winter is coming. And while it gets dark earlier and temperatures approach freezing, it gets extra cozy on the couch in the evening. Amazon seems to be aware of this too – with premium movie additions on its own streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, there’s now an added incentive to get comfortable in front of the TV.
A large number of highlights have reached the provider over the weekend and at the beginning of the week, which can now be streamed by anyone with a Prime subscription at no extra cost. Action movie buffs can look forward to five highlights in one fell swoop or a full lineup of cops: all five Bourne movies starring Matt Damon are now available – from “The Bourne Identity” to “The Bourne Supremacy”, “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “The Bourne Legacy” to “Jason Bourne”.

While the individual Bourne chapters vary somewhat in quality – ranging from excellent (4.5 stars for part 3) to solid (3 stars for part 5) in MOVIE STARTS reviews – action fans should definitely see the series in its entirety. Matt Damon, once completely contrary, caused a big surprise 20 years ago and still convinces today in one of the best action film series since the turn of the millennium.
The other innovations on Prime Video could hardly be more different. From soccer biopics to completely wacky puppet horrors to Quentin Tarantino in its purest form, it’s all included:

Anyone who needs a bit of a break from the run-of-the-mill football at the World Cup or has already moved away from the questionable event in Qatar is served with “I Am Zlatan” – which tells the life of cult Swedish footballer Zlatan “Ibra” Ibrahimovic. On the other hand, if you have a taste for unusual genre entertainment, you can look forward to “Willy’s Wonderland”. In it, a taciturn (and damn cool) Nicolas Cage takes on murderous animatronic monsters to get him. And Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” is always a good choice anyway – at least for the author of this article, the unique World War II thriller is still one of the master director’s best films.
Prime Video: Other movie highlights fly out of range
Since streaming is not a one-way street and licenses are not only bought, but also expire at some point, content from Amazon Prime Video and Co. will of course also disappear. on a regular basis. Just a few more days to go: the thriller ‘A Risky Plan’ starring ‘Avatar’ protagonist Sam Worthington, the hot action hit ‘Gamer’ starring Gerard Butler (from the creators of ‘Crank’), ‘Escape Plan’ starring in the starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and a legendary film series that every sci-fi fan should know:
