Stefan Raab: comeback after 10 years? Fans puzzle over mysterious video

Stefan Raab has had an Instagram profile for several years, but not much usually happens on the channel. But on Friday, March 29, the moderator’s followers took their breath away.

In a 90-second video, Elton canoes on a lake. There is water, forest and mountains all around him. He keeps calling for Stefan Raab – and after a while he finds him. Fans don’t get to see the 57-year-old’s face, but it is Raab’s words that prick up their ears.

When Elton sees his former boss, he says, “Here you are! You’re just skin and bones! Everyone is looking for you!” He suggests that after almost a decade of abstinence from TV, Stefan Raab should finally get a bigger project going again. After Raab’s departure in December 2015, it became quiet around him. The Cologne resident only works in the background and is no longer in front of the camera.

“There must be something else you’d like to be,” Elton asks. Then the voice of the former ‘TV Total’ star sounds: he explains that he would like to become an influencer – and then has an idea:

In the comments on the Instagram post, fans are now wondering what the video is about. Is Stefan Raab actually planning a comeback to the show or is this in preparation for an April Fool’s joke?
