William and Harry appear separately at Diana’s tribute

Prince William commemorated his late mother Princess Diana during an awards ceremony, but without making a joint appearance with brother Prince Harry. “She taught me that everyone has the potential to give back; that everyone in need deserves a helping hand in life,” said William (41), according to the British news agency PA on Thursday evening in London.

Later, Harry (39) would also address the winners of the Legacy Awards via video link. The Times newspaper saw the fact that no joint performance was planned as a sign of the ongoing rift between the brothers. An ITV reporter said it was apparently not possible to get them in the same room together for the award’s anniversary.

The award was presented in memory of Princess Diana (1961-1997), who married the current King Charles III. was married and died in a car accident. The award is intended to honor young people for their social involvement.

Diana’s sons William and Harry are believed to be at odds. Harry had stepped back from his royal duties with his wife, Duchess Meghan. The two now live in the US with their two children. The relationship with the royal family in Great Britain is considered broken after several accusations.

An Instagram account associated with Meghan also caused speculation in the British media on Thursday evening: blurry video images appeared on the American Riviera Orchard channel, showing a woman in a dress baking.
