Margot Robbie visits Argentina a few days after the Oscars

Australian actress Margot Robbie, star of the popular movie ‘Barbie’, is visiting Argentina’s Patagonia after attending the Oscars gala in Los Angeles last Sunday, where the film inspired by the world of the famous toy won one of the eight awards it was in the running for. .

Robbie was not nominated for Best Actress for her acclaimed role in the film film directed by Greta Gerwigbut still appeared on the list of Best Picture nominees as a producer of the film, the highest-grossing film of 2023.

According to the Argentine press, the Hollywood star was identified at Comodoro Rivadavia Airport, in the southern province of Chubut, from where he traveled to the coastal town of Rada Tilly.

Robbie was identified while sand moved through the airport with his suitcases, hidden behind a mask, probably not to be recognized.

After landing on the coast of Patagonia, the actress and her husband would enjoy lunch at the famous Rada Tilly restaurant, local media write.

According to the Argentine social chronicle, the protagonist of the films “The Wolf of Wall Street”, “Yo, Tonya” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” would enjoy a full “Patagonian feast”.

The beaches of Rada Tilly are the southernmost on the American continent and are very popular for water sports.

But Margot Robbie’s love affair with Argentina is not new.

The Australian actress filmed with Will Smith several scenes from the movie ‘Focus’ in Buenos Aires at the end of 2013.

After the pandemic, Robbie visited the South American country again with her friend, model and actress Cara Delevingne.

Then they were spotted having dinner at a restaurant in the tourist district of La Boca, where they had a controversial fight with a ‘paparazzi’ who was attacked by the actress’s companions.

Argentina, eighth in number worldwide and one of the most touristic in Latin America, it has numerous settings that captivate international visitors.

With the streets of its lively capital, deserts, mountains, hidden jungles or spectacular corners of inhospitable and icy Patagonia, Argentina is more versatile than the most famous doll in the world.
