Due to illness: Adele cancels all Las Vegas performances in March

Pop star Adele is taking a break on the advice of doctors. The 35-year-old Briton announced on social media on Tuesday (local time) that she had to interrupt her concert series in Las Vegas. She was already ill at the end of her last series of performances and did not fully recover even during a break. Unfortunately, Adele continued, her voice was affected. She will miss her fans “like crazy” and she is very sorry, she writes on Instagram. The “Easy On Me” singer canceled all performances scheduled for March as part of her concert series at the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas. They had to be made up for later, it was said.

In November 2022, Adele started her show series ‘Weekends With Adele’ in the casino city in the US state of Nevada. Initially, 32 concerts were planned until March 2023, but the singer then expanded this with two more concert series. The latter would run until mid-June this year.

Adele recently announced performances in Munich. Ten concerts are planned from August 2 to 31 in a specially created open-air arena at the Munich exhibition grounds. According to agency Live Nation, it is the first time since 2016 that Adele has performed in mainland Europe. (sda/dpa)
