The “Titanic Collector’s Edition” will be available from May 3, 2024 and can already be pre-ordered from online mail order companies. And a lot of people do, as evidenced by how quickly the box opens despite the impressive price the top positions in Amazon’s sales charts* gets shot.
That’s no wonder. After all, the Collector’s Edition is only available in an imitation edition and should especially surprise many “Titanic” fans with its rich and apparently high-quality content.
First of all, there is of course the legendary Hollywood epic with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the best possible version – on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. This has also been available separately since December 2023. The version presents “Titanic” in excellent and best possible image and sound quality.
Already part of the recent 4K release two more discs: the regular Blu-ray and another Blu-ray just for the bonus material. Because at over 15 hours, some of which are brand new, the 4K editions offer more additional content than any other release of the film.
All this is of course also included in the new Collector’s Edition, but it offers much more.
Because The new collector’s box also contains all kinds of tangible extra content:
There’s one underneath Illustrated hardcover book full of behind the scenes photos. Immediately detailed ship diagrams you can get a closer look at where things happened on the Titanic. Ten key scenes from the film have also been drawn directly. In addition, various movie props reproduced and included in the collector’s box – including a boarding pass, the various menus for 1st, 2nd and 3rd class and notes exchanged by the characters in the film. Also sheet music of Celine Dion’s multi-award winning hit ‘My Heart Will Go On’ are part of the collector’s box.
