‘Game of Thrones’ stars Turner and Harington are making a horror film

Sophie Turner (27) and Kit Harington (37) appeared in all eight seasons of the cult series ‘Game of Thrones’. Now the British stars are planning their next joint project. As the American industry newspaper “Deadline.com” reported on Friday (local time), Turner and Harington are on board the planned horror film “The Dreadful”. Director and screenwriter Natasha Kermani (“Lucky”) linked the report and announced the film on Instagram. According to Deadline.com, the scary story takes place in England in the 15th century.

In the HBO fantasy saga ‘Game of Thrones’, which is based on the Middle Ages, several family tribes fought for the ‘Iron Throne’ of the fictional continent of Westeros. Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams played sisters Sansa and Arya Stark, while Harington played the character Jon Snow. Turner next appeared in the series “The Staircase” and Harington in the Marvel film “Eternals”. Nothing was initially known about when filming for “The Dreadful” would begin. (saw/sda/dpa)
