Nearly indestructible and incredibly loud: this Bluetooth speaker in the Amazon deal breaks all boundaries

Bluetooth boxes are trendy – no wonder, because they are extremely practical. However, a small box is not enough for parties, events or festival camping. Here come powerful ones Party speakers in the game.

The speakers from the Danish brand Soundboks are popular and infamous. They can not only get extremely loud, but are also unparalleled robust and have a monster battery. At Amazon you only save 30 percent Soundboks Gen 3.

Extremely robust and incredibly loud

To the deal

The normal price of 999 euros is quite high for a Bluetooth speaker, even though the Soundboks offers a lot. In the offer for 699 euros it looks completely different. We suspect that it will not be much cheaper since the 3rd generation of the speaker is no longer produced.

This Bluetooth speaker can handle a lot: the Soundboks Gen 3

126 dB is incredibly loud. The author of this text once measured the volume at a punk rock concert for fun – and came up with “only” about 112 dB. 126 dB is as loud as an airplane taking off from 100 meters away. So now you can roughly imagine how much power the Soundboks have.

But does that sound good? The experts at hifi.de say yes! The bass is huge and the treble doesn’t distort either. However, when it comes to more delicate applications, the Soundboks are easily beaten by the competition from Sony or JBL, as they have a slightly more accurate and neutral resolution. The Soundboks have to lose some feathers, especially in the midrange. But the sound is always nice.

Besides the sheer volume, there are two other flagships: The robust housing and the strong, replaceable battery. The Danes have so much confidence in their Soundboks that they use the party speaker in videos on social media throw down a flight of stairs or throwing things around visitors at a festival to leave. The Soundboks can do a lot. It is also IP65 waterproof and dustproof.

The battery lasts about 40 hours at medium volume, so you’re prepared for a party marathon. If you fill it up, the box will run out of juice after about 5 hours. Because the battery is replaceable, you can easily order a second battery from Amazon*. And now you have 10 hours of music at full volume.

The 4th generation Soundboks have now been released, but they still cost the full 999 euros and will not be on sale anytime soon. In addition to a new design, the battery life has been improved. The sound has also been adjusted, but is only slightly better than that of the 3rd generation. We therefore recommend the previous model because of the low deal price.
