After fans of the superhero series ‘Invincible’ were finally happy with four new episodes in November 2023 after more than two and a half years about Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, voiced by Steven Yeun (‘Beef’, ‘The Walking Dead’), The second half of the second season of “Invincible” is finally here in the starting blocks. A new teaser trailer now shows us the superhero groaning in pain as he looks at a row of burning buildings.
More information about this can be found on the official website -Account of the series can of course be read completely unironically: “I’m sure that in the second half of season 2, Mark returns to college, reads his father’s books and doesn’t get involved in anything exciting for him or his family…”
So we can be sure that things for Mark Grayson will continue as they left off – with a series of brutal confrontations that are typical of ‘The Walking Dead’ creator Robert Kirkman’s series.
But that’s not all: because of the teaser also tells us the launch date of the highly anticipated “Invincible” supplement.
This awaits us on March 14, 2024 and completes the eight-episode second season of the superhero series on Amazon Prime Video with four new episodes.
This marks Steven Yeun’s latest foray into the superhero genre after the actor dropped out of the upcoming MCU hit ‘Thunderbolts’. Here, scheduling conflicts due to last year’s Hollywood strikes put a damper on the collaboration. In ‘Invincible’ he takes on the role of 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who develops incredible powers thanks to his grandfather – the superhero Omni-Man – and from that moment on is confronted with evil forces.
In addition to Yeun, “Invincible” features an all-star voice cast, including “Killing Eve” star Sandra Oh, “Star Trek” officer Zachary Quinto, Seth Rogen (“Bad Neighbors”), JK Simmons (“Whiplash”), Zazie Beetz (“Deadpool 2”), “Ally McBeal” actress Calista Flockhart and Yeun’s “The Walking Dead” co-stars Ross Marquardt and Khary Payton.
