‘I want to be a writer!’ and his subsequent publications

Last year writer and lawyer Linda Astwood She ventured into non-fiction literature and fell in love with that experience, and in 2023 she showed that with persistence and diligence she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.

The author tried her hand at “I want to be a writer!”, non-fiction books, a publication with which she hopes to reach other spheres so that all those who dream of writing and publishing can achieve it.

“I want to be a writer!” It was published as part of the celebration of the Panama International Book Fair (FIL Panamá), a space dedicated to literature and authors, where readers can interact with writers.

(…) I thought, after a short thought, that my book, which is intended for beginner writers, it would have its biggest niche there (FIL Panama); people of all ages who are interested in writing their first book,” Astwood revealed.

Astwood (@lindastwood) is pleased with the reception her publication has had, it is being sought after by new readers and is one of those books that is bought to be read over and over again or to be given as a gift to aspiring or experienced writers.

In this sense, the author received messages of gratitude and very good comments about the content of the book: “Some have mentioned to me that they really liked the techniques and tools explained; others have told me that the book cleared up their doubts and helped them resolve moments of writer’s block. They even recommended me to new readers.”

The book is the result, that is, the experience of Astwood, since he has been holding narrative workshops and teaching novice writers for several years, therefore, he already had some information contained in the publication.

The writer admitted that she really wanted to make this publication, to share her knowledge gained during her career, so she lays the foundation of what, from her perspective, is needed to help anyone write a book.

“I want to be a writer!”, valued at $15 and sold at @narrandoandopty and @lindastwood, is divided into levels, starting from the most basic to more complex terrain. (…) A book that contains theory, techniques, practice and examples”, said the author.

On the other hand, the writer is working on an anthology with a group of writers, it will be a surprise, and she has two other solo projects, a collection of poems and a novel that has taken her time and is leaving her comfort zone.
