It’s hard to believe: this Sony camera should actually cost twice as much and now you can get it even cheaper with cashback

A full-frame sensor, 4K video recording up to 120 FPS, ultra-fast and precise autofocus and extremely strong performance even in low light – the VLOG camera Sony ZV-E1 has a lot to offer. It borrows its heart, the sensor, from its bigger siblings, the Sony A7S III or the FX3 cine camera, both of which cost more than twice as much.

The ZV-E1 is already a price-performance beast. With Sony’s cashback promotion you can now save another 300 euros.

To get the 300 euros, you must buy the camera before January 31 and claim the cashback before March 15 Sony’s promotional page to apply for. Important: the promotion does not apply to cameras purchased on Amazon, which is why we recommend MediaMarkt in this case.

Sony ZV-E1: professional technology in a mini housing

Only 12 cm wide and 7 cm high: the ZV-E1 is real super handy. It’s amazing how much technology is packed into the small case. The full-size full-frame sensor makes this possible Sensational video recordings, with great depth of field and little noise. You can make professional film recordings with this camera. The high sensitivity of the sensor enables incredibly clear recordings, even in low light. Director Gareth Edwards The Sony camera FX3 is used exactly for this reason for his science fiction blockbuster ‘The Creator’, which uses the same sensor.

Everything your video heart desires: With the Sony ZV-E1 you can record videos in breathtaking 4K at up to 120FPS and 10Bit. The higher color depth of the 10-bit mode enables even more natural colors and is especially worthwhile for complex video editing, e.g. for green screen recordings.

Another flagship of Sony cameras is the extremely fast autofocus and the Sony ZV-E1 delivers here too. Computerbild writes: “In addition, the very fast and very accurate autofocus is powerful during filming.” Other trade magazines are also not shy in their praise. The English-language trade magazine Techradar gives it 4.5 out of 5 stars and concludes that the camera can do much more than most content creators will need.

  • Buy the Sony ZV-E1 with cashback*

There has to be a catch somewhere, right? Of course, this camera isn’t perfect either. If you are looking for a device just for taking photos, the ZV-E1 is not your first choice, although it can also shoot sharp images. The sensor, with only 12 megapixels, is a bit small for professional photography. If you want to print your image large, the small Sony camera will eventually reach its limits. It also doesn’t have an optical viewfinder, so you’ll have to be content with the screen.

But if you want a powerful video camera with professional quality and a compact appearance, then the Sony ZV-E1 is the right choice.
