At number 74 Bahnhofstrasse is the eye-catcher: the corner house Modissa. It is even more surprising that one temporary use follows another. Since the summer of 2022 (the fashion store that operated for over 60 years closed) no new tenants have been found. Now the fourth workaround already exists; “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” (“NZZ”) knows. Cosmetics retailer Rituals has now moved here. But not on every floor. As in the previous ones, the upper floors will remain empty again. Only the rooftop rooftop restaurant remained in operation throughout the entire period.

Transforming the House of Modissa would not be easy. The house was added to the monument protection inventory ten years ago.
