Hits from the death list 2023

The Deathlist, Britain’s annual death toll, got 19 out of 50 predictions of celebrities, including musicians, film stars, politicians and businessmen, who could die in 2023.

The first death prediction came true on February 5, 2023, when Pakistani soldier and politician Pervez Musharraf died, and the last one occurred on December 27, when French politician Jacques Delors died.

Norman Lear (December 6), Shane MacGowan (November 30), Henry Kissinger (November 29), Joss Ackland (November 19), Rosalynn Carter (August 19), Sir Bobby Charlton (October 21), Mohamed Al-Fayed (August 30) ), Bob Barker (August 26), Michael Parkinson (August 16), Tony Bennett (July 21), Milan Kundera (July 11), Tina Turner (May 24), Rolf Harris (May 10), Harry Belafonte (April 25), Nigel Lawson (April 3), Ryuichi Sakamoto (March 28) and Burt Bacharach (February 8), are personalities who passed away during 2023 and appeared on The Deathlist.

Henry KissingerAmerican politician, was second on the list, had 11 appearances, entered the total in 1996 and died at the age of 100.

Another personality who died last year and had a lot of mentions is Bob Barker, The actor and television presenter American is mentioned for the first time in 2017 and has added a total of seven.

Tony Bennett, the legendary American musician, collected a large number of performances, a total of six, and his first performance was in 1993.

On the other hand, Tina Turner, seventh success countexperienced the second mention last year and entered the a list in 2019. In 2023, the singer was in 48th place.

It is worth mentioning that some of the people who died in the last 12 months first appeared in List of deaths as was the case with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Rolf Harris, Michael Parkinson, among others.
